in that case id guess the admins permaban the rg name and then just whack every alter as they come

I've wondered about that. I've logged onto TD from home, work, school, SO's house, my parents house, my phone, etc etc.
If I were to get an IP ban (not saying I would), would they all be banned?

Probably just one you post from the most....
I mean I never got an IP ban and I created my share of alters (only used 11, some where banned before I ever used) and I never got an IP ban but I never really did anything horrible other than being an arse.

They could probably ban any IP your handle has posted from, I assume.

Doubtful, they can't exactly ban a public IP because others may use the IP I assume.
I am not sure how it all works or if they even do a complete IP ban.

Not sure. I don't have much experience with alters though.

You can also set up a proxy and get yourself a different IP, even from the same location/ISP.
99% of people wouldn't know how to do that though

Well yeah no doubt, hg is one of the best posters on the site. It just sucks because that guy, while still somewhat of a noob, seemed to be an alright poster and got banned because of JDM snitching, while hg will probably not face any repercussions.

All depends on if someone RA's, sometimes if it is a poster not known for that they may look into IP to see if location is same because he may actually get hacked
