That is very sad. I have two beagles... one is a rescue. That's no way for a beagle to live.

yep. Everytime I go over there I let her out and I think it pisses them off, but IDGAF. They wonder why she runs around like crazy... she's got pent up energy and excitement that needs to run and burn off some of the youthful energy.

That is sad.
Had a friend get a dog from a pound with his gf he had known just a little over a month. They don't even play with the dog anymore. It just sits out in the backyard and his parents from time to time play with it.
