I wonder if he'll address his posts regarding planes hitting buildings being irrelevant in conversations where planes hit buildings.

What are you talking about?

When Vols was being this obtuse earlier I knew he was doing it deliberately and he admitted it.

I'm not so sure in this case.

I said - this isn't really relevant (obviously because there are differing factors) but planes have hit skyscrapers resulting in no collapse.

I'm not sure how this has tickled your fancy so much.

Kinda like Pete Carroll's views are legitimate and add value, but aren't relevant.

If anything can be said about this thread it's that I didn't behave this way, but proceed with doin your thing.

I didn't even get that.

And that's another tactic of his. If he says something wrong, or the conversation shifts he suddenly ignores it, the tunnel vision takes over and he takes the Misericordia route.

You do know Vols understood what was being said, he was just being an arse for the fun of it.

If you can't see the noteworthiness in a guy like Pete Carroll being in the conspiracy camp as a way to counter the 'tin foil in moms basement' stereotype while also recognizing that what Pete thinks can't be used in a significant way in the actual debate, then I don't know what to tell you.

Actually anyone who has read any of this thread would conclude exactly the opposite of that

This isn't entirely relevant because there were different factors in play, but a B25 bomber hit the Empire State building and a C45 hit 40 Wall Street, neither building collapsed. - Sleeping Tiger

This is called having your cake and eating it too.

It's called trying to slither your argument in.

Didn't ya papi ever tell you that you can't have it both ways?

He also skipped the whole part about how I shouldn't be posting from work because I'm paid by tax dollars.

Just drops little nuggets of lunacy around threads like the Easter Bunny hiding eggs

I guess so, man.

I was having my cake and eating it too.

Or I was just injecting into the pool of discussion that planes have hit buildings resulting in no collapse, while also recognizing that the differing factors involved make it impossible to totally apply those examples to this case.

I'm not sure what you're talking about, what did I ignore?

And, I've said a number of things that get ignored, just in the last couple pages I've made points that get totally passed over.

That was stupid of you.

If you can't apply the examples to the matter at hand, they cease to be examples.

You're just babbling at that point.

Let me fix this for you.

Or I was just injecting into the pool of discussion that planes have hit buildings resulting in no collapse, while arguing that the Twin Towers didn't fall down due to planes.

This is extremely relevant and you fricking know it, especially to this conversation. There is no way to snake out of this one.

Wriggle as you may, you literally said planes hitting buildings and them not falling is impertinent to a conversation where you were arguing just that.

Unbelievable blindness.

That last post was bad, even for this site.

What are you even talking about?

I clearly said I realize this isn't entirely relevant because of differing factors, but planes have hit buildings resulting in no collapse.

I'm not trying to wiggle out of anything, because there is nothing to wiggle out of.

How do you interpret that I'm saying the towers didn't fall because of planes?

quote:

you literally said planes hitting buildings and them not falling is impertinent to a conversation where you were arguing just that.

And then this, no idea what to even say besides -- 'whaaat'?

You're going to have to reel it back in for this conversation to continue.

In my experience, if something adds value, it's usually relevant to the topic at hand.
