That may explain it, I was no Dead Head. Lots of folks around me were and followed them like a cult, just not me.

If we crossed paths it would have been R&B, not Garcia & Co. Back in the day, there was a place called "Joyland" (long since torn down) where lots of top entertainment played but the heyday was before modern rock (70's).

August 22, 1947, so she would have been jailbait for me. I usually was on the other side with women older than me. Back then that was the quick way to a shotgun wedding or jail. Neither option was worth the sentence.
