Ironically, Fox took down the original story because it was flat out false. They have put out a new story. I suggest everyone read it. Bottom line. Neither BO or Mizzou ban ownership. Other Universities actually do. And of course, at the bottom of the article is a retraction of their previous erroneous story.

Good. fricking Fox News.

Every single team rule goes above and beyond laws. If you don't want to follow the team rules, don't play football. Simple. Yes, sometimes you do have to make choices based upon your priorities in life.

I think it is smart by BO if real. Save players from themselves. In Columbia, MO, there is no need for players (or really any students) to have guns. Unless going hunting, there is nothing good that will come out of having them on campus or in drinking situations off campus.

But I'm totally on board. If BO banned drinking all season, I wouldn't be mad either. He is the head coach. If players don't want to play for him and his rules, they can leave.

I was told by someone who used to work in the AD that Pinkel once kicked a kid out of a meeting and suspended him for showing up with a drink in a white styrofoam cup with a red straw. Truth.
