Yea anyone remember the week after Indiana? I do.
you remember, the game that means even IF we win the SEC we will watch the playoffs on tv, , sort of like losing to UMKC...
seeing the koolaiders show up after any win with all the "see I told ya, see I told ya" posts, is just the new meta on stupid troll...

Losing to UMKC the other night =/= losing to Indiana earlier this year.
Indiana might suck, but they are still a P5 football team and have the chance to surprise on any given Saturday.
UMKC is our little sister school... I went there for law school and my only comment on the matter is that we have no business losing to them. Ever.

It's almost as stupid as questioning Pinkel's job...almost

no it's actually worse, the hoops team doesn't really know how to play as a team yet, where as the football team should have handled that game without question.
it's actually far worse than the loss to UMKC.

Nah, I disagree, and here's why:
Indiana football
-Plays in one of the most powerful conferences in college sports.
-Has a football program worth $125.8 million.
-Plays in a 53,000 seat stadium that is owned by the University.
-Has a state-of-the-art 138,000 square foot player development center.
-The state's flagship school.
UMKC basketball
-Plays, and tends to lose badly, in the WAC - one of the worst conferences in Division I basketball.
-Has an $11 million budget for the entire athletic program.
-Plays in Municipal Auditorium, a city-owned gym built in 1936.
-Does not have its own practice facilities, team uses Swinney Rec. Center; a gym that is open to all UMKC students as well as the general public for a monthly fee.
-Mizzou's red-headed step-child.

I admit that I enjoy your avi. I guess if we're gonna allow a redleg kansas frick to be a guest on our board, that redleg frick should at least have an attractive avi pic.
And you do.
Therefore...welcome!

you can talk up IU football all day it will still suck, creating a spread sheet won't change that.
but you go ahead and believe what you want.

It would be so Mizzou if we finally win an sec championship the year we lost to Indiana. k-State did the same thing though, won their first conference title the year they finally lost a couple.

Of course IU football sucks, that's not the point.
The point is that it is more embarrassing for our basketball team to lose to UMKC than it is for our football team to lose to Indiana. Both are bad, one should never happen.
