What to do in CoMo on Monday midday?

I've got to go up to CoMo on Monday and am going to be by myself with nothing to do from like 11-3. Any recommendations of places to eat or things I should go see? I'm going to be on campus at 11 so I figured I would go check out Faurot at least. It's my first trip up there so I figured you guys might be able to point me in the right direction.
Thanks in advance!

If you're on campus, you should check out the football stadium and the student rec center. Also Mizzou Arena if you can get in.

Where's the rec center in relationship to the Vet school. That's where I will be up until 11.

The rec center is just north of the hospital. From the vet school, come back out to College, get on Hospital Drive and park in the Virginia Ave garage. Go out the west doors of the garage and you'll see it across the street on the right.
I'm exhausted right now, but will think of more suggestions for you tomorrow.

Meet up and I'll give you a personal tour lol. I don't have classes on Mondays and subsequently have not much to do.

You should check out Flat Branch for lunch/a few beers.

I was just coming on here to ask about lunch.
I'm free later than expected so I don't have as much time to check out town because I still have to be back by 3. I just went by the stadiums. I didn't realize how much work you were doing on Faurot. That's going to be a nice upgrade for you guys. On that note, what's the field behind your athletic center? Is that softball or baseball?

I believe there's an outdoor practice football field, softball stadium, baseball stadium, and soccer stadium all in that general area.
I'll keep my eyes open on campus for someone wearing Hog gear

I'm at Flat Branch and requested a table because I need to do some work and didn't think I would have enough space at the bar. I didn't think to ask if their wifi was working however. It turns out it is down.
The Green Chili beer is great however. It will ease some of the awkwardness of sitting at a table in a crowded restaurant with nothing to do.

Flat branch is great!! I miss their fries with the horseradish cream sauce. Yum.
Yes, Lots of renovations at Faurot. Across the road is baseball, softball, soccer, the track, outdoor practice facility, and then the gold course. Everything is right there together in the sports park.
And I'm serious - see the rec center if you can. It's fantastic, you won't be disappointed.

I'm going to head by there on my way back.
I just went basic here and got the pepperoni pizza. It's sooooo good however. I just want to take a nap at this point in the day. I'm trying to work on a spreadsheet and it's not going so well because I'm so full and tired.

Yeah, their oven pizzas are great. Are you walking through campus? If so, check out the quad, it's pretty. And at the rec center, just say you're a visitor to campus and would like a quick tour. They'll show you around. But you'll have to ask since you don't have an ID.

Unfortunately, I did not have time to get by the rec center. The vet called me about an hour earlier than they originally said to tell me that my pup was done with testing. I didn't want to keep her there any longer than I had too so I went and picked her up immediately and headed home.
By the way, very big props on your Vet school. They were beyond great in helping us out and taking care of my dog while we were there. Just a very well run facility from what I saw. Good news was that everything looks to be all right with my puppy.
I have to bring her back for a follow-up visit in a few months though so they can make sure that their findings were correct and nothing has changed so I will be sure to make the rec center the first thing I go see. I appreciate all of the tips.
