Tim Fuller
quote:

The opportunity to get the best player in the state, no matter what year you can get him, is important to our Mizzou brand.

Cam Biedscheid
quote:

I feel like when a guy transfers, everyone else and even the media just considers that kid to be a bad kid... but Coach Haith, Coach Fuller, and Coach Phelps embrace you. You don't have to be a bad person or a bad kid or a bad player just because you transfer and they know that and they accept that. They want to take transfers who are talented and help them expand their game.

Cam Biedscheid
quote:

There's a real family feel here--a real sense of brotherhood here. I like that a lot. That's why I came here... [Playing in my home state again] is one of the things that fuels me everyday.

There are some other quotes about Cam's abilities, his intangibles and leadership ability, and his play in the Big East.

They're still not changing my view towards transfers. I wish him and all of them the best. Just win. Don't care who or where they come from. Just win. If it's with transfers, so be it.

I don't know what it adds up to but with the shite schedule we play, no team that is any good is going to lose more than 1 OOC game. The SEC is shite in basketball. Any team that likes to think they are any good should win at least 13 or 14 of those. So whatever that works out to.

I was just noting that you might need to clarify your ultimate goal to something more lofty, especially considering Mizzou's easy schedule, which you allude to.

You're right. Finishing .500 in the SEC but having a winning record because of a cupcake noncon does not constitute a successful season in my book.

Just out of curiosity, did Georgia then have a successful season?

They went 12-6 in the SEC and tied for 2nd!
They also had a cupcake non-conference schedule that they went 6-6 during.

First, I am not about to concede that the Missouri basketball program is on the same level with UGA. Maybe we are, but I hope not. For UGA fans, it may have been a successful season in their book based on the state of their program. If it were Mizzou, I would say not a chance in hell when you go 6-6 with a cupcake non-con schedule. Maybe it's not fair, but my expectations for Mizzou hoops is just higher than UGA hoops.

Virtually all the major conference teams have cup cake non conference schedules.
