I saw on PM that the Tigers got a solid verbal from Markel Smith ( 5'10" 210Lbs) RB from Vianney HS in St. Louis. 2014 class.

Getting bigger backs to play in the SEC. I did not think it would be so but it looks like I am wrong and we WILL change our offense to play in the SEC.

More than a year away but please be true Little Baby Jesus please make this true !!!

Getting him and using him to his strengths are 2 different things. We shall see.

I wonder if that reduces the chances of Elliott changing his mind.

I also read on PM that we should expect some shakeup in the coaching staff this offseason. Yost will Likely be changed to a different role and some other position coaches may lose their jobs. Don't shoot the messenger if it doesn't come true but we should all hope it does, we need some new blood

Dunno. One is a '13 kid and the other is a '14.

Would be music to my ears, but I just don't see how you demote someone and they still hang around. Wouldn't he lose sway even with the team?

From an outsider looking in it appears the reason we wouldn't totally cut ties with Yost is the fact he is probably our best recruiter, which is exactly what we need right now. If he's willing to go to Co-OC with a new guy and take over recruiting coordinator and QB coach, it'd be best for all parties

We get to keep our best recruiter and we get a new play caller.

I would want that to be the result too. My point isn't really from a Mizzou perspective but from a Yost perspective. Would Yost really want to stick around if he's being demoted? Just seems like it would be hard to save face from his perspective.
