It's strange how a seeming majority of this place's denizens talk shite about the wild wilderness of tigerboard but yet seem to be advocating turning this place into the same sort of anarchical shite fest. Without any mob voting even. Hellz to the naw.

I guess I just am unsure of what the different boards' purpose is. The sandbox to frick around with other fans is the Rant. I suppose you could say these team forums are different in that the topic has to be the particular team but other than that its OK to still troll/frick around...but it seems like so far the team forums have also been more civil non-trolly places. I have a blast trolling the Rant when the mood strikes, don't get me wrong...but getting on this one and having to wade through stupid bullshite would get kinda old. I for one welcome our monarchical form of government and stand with Queen Semo on this one.

I dont know if Semo has touched base with you but she is looking for contributors from our poster base here to do features highlighting upcoming match ups for football as well as previewing things for basketball.
You are, by far, the go to person when it comes to Mizzou basketball. Dont know if you are interested in something like that or not.

Thanks man. She did mention and I will really look at it for basketball if y'all would like. My concern is exactly what you mention - I'm just a bit too streaky of a poster some times that I wouldn't want to let people down who are relying on regular content to be contributed. I'm that way on tigerboard and powermizzou too, I'm the frickin' Keion Bell of Mizzou posters you never know when you'll get something out of me or not. You all do a great job of holding shite down here and I will try to step it up a bit. Am flying up to CoMo for the Hearnes Center game, cannot freaking wait.

Totally understand. Whatever you want to contribute would be awesome. I like her idea to get multiple posters involved. Should allow folks to contribute and not have that "obligation" feel.

ATX, the only football game I still need someone for is A&M. If I can't get a volunteer, I may draft someone.
I will try to get the basketball schedule posted this week, and start getting volunteers. I'm not sure it's worth it to do all the non-con games, maybe just the higher-profile ones.
And guys, I'm still a firm No on the porkster. I don't believe he is capable of having a legit discussion on anything related to our school, teams or state. That's what this board is for. Yes, I can remove people who cause problems, but knowingly let a problem in? Porker isn't all bad, but his schtick is best left to the rant. Besides, he's never asked for access that I'm aware of.
