SEC officiating is pretty terrible.

Just wanted to put that out there.

Not if your team is Alabama. With the exception of the "tipped" pass interference call, everything is going Bamas way, yet they still trail...

It's amazing really. Also, what the hell was Georgia doing on that last play?

Well, that game was awesome. Holy shite.

Looks like a fade that got tipped and fell short. It wasnt a bad play call in my opinion. Just a really good defensive play.

Why didnt Murray spike the ball? This seems like something that we would have done in this situation. I feel for UGA.

I dont know. That one will haunt Richt for a while. I dont mind the play call he did make but they could have taken their time and calm things down with a spike.

This.
That was one of the best football games I've seen in a long, long time. Wow! It's a shame one of those teams had to lose, they both played their heart out.
I'm still pinching myself that this is OUR conference!!

No doubt Semo. It's very cool indeed.
Proud to be a part of this thing.

I was watching that game today just enjoying the talent and heart of both teams playing, and knowing I'd be happy with the SEC playing for the BCSCG, regardless of which team won. I think either of those teams would handle Notre Dame.
I never felt "proud" to be part of the Big 12, like I felt pride in watching that amazing game this afternoon. Here's hoping Mizzou can someday compete in a game like that!

Agreed, sounds stupid, but its true. I never felt that way about the Big 12 either.

Had they spiked the ball, they might've had time for two plays instead of one hurried play.

Oh I agree completely, thats what they should have done. I was just saying that the actual fade was a decent call at that point regardless. If it didnt get tipped and was incomplete they would have had another shot as well.

Add my kudos to both teams. After a slow 1st qtr, the game became very exciting! One of the best I have ever seen!
I wanted UGA to win, to increase the number of SEC teams in NC game. The only really BAD call, to my thinking, was the missed call when Bama player tackled UGA qtbk late and made head contact. Very unfortunate, due to earlier call against UGA for same situation.
I heard announcers talking about players being suspended for next game, for such illegal contact. Evidently, after a review of game tape, such discipline can be dispensed.....So does anyone think this player will have to sit on bench in Miami?
