I hate the way it is set up right now! Each year is so unbalanced, the odd-numbered year is set up for us to be successful, and the even year is not.

This year was great; we got Florida, SCAR, Tenn, and A&M all at home.

However, next year we have to play at Toledo, which isnt as bad, but also Florida, SCAR, Tenn, and A&M which is literally a nightmare.

2014 home game include South Dakota St, UCF, Indiana, Georgia, Vanderbilt, Kentucky, and Arkansas.

Could that get any shittier..? And the fact that Mizzou just put in $72m to get an upper deck, and ordered the most awful home schedule I have seen in a while is beyond me.

Conference scheduling is what it is. Can't do anything about it. Out of conf is scheduled years in advance. UCF, UGA and arkansas look good to me.

Next year doesn't look bad at all to me. We will have a ton of skill guys back. GA loses Murray, SC loses Shaw and Clowney, FL still wont be able to score. Maty has shown he could beat all three. We will just need to keep developing the defense and hope we can get some highly rated DB's and Safety's to come in and shore up our pass defense.

Mizzou just snagged 4 star Andy Bauer, a DeSmet OT from Ole Miss. He de-commited from OM to Mizzou today. 6'5 300lbs... great addition.

SEC scheduling has nothing to do with our OOC opponents.

Your OP makes no sense.

We get FLA, TN, SCAR, and rotating west opponent at home on odd years.

We get UGA, Vandy, Kentucky, Arkansas at home on even years.

Seems about as even as it can be..

I'm with Sleepy. I think it seems pretty balanced. Do we play A&M again next year? I thought we replaced them with Arkansas.

ETA - OK, I checked the schedule. I thought we'd rotated away from A&M. I don't mind playing them, but would love to see some of the other west teams too, and I know they'd love to see other teams from the east. That said - we're front-loaded on non-cons again, but the toughest stretch of the schedule next year is at SC, Georgia at home, at Florida. No different than this year. I'm not scared of that schedule.

I don't mind playing them either, but I'd guess it will change after the 14 season. I think we asked to milk the TAMU games as long as possible to help appeal to the TX kids who came to Mizzou with the idea that they would be playing games in TX.
