Let's make a Cardinals/Royals sig bet. I bet you any sig pic I design that the Royals don't reach 85 wins. If I win, you must keep the sig pic that I design for you for the duration of football season.

Do you agree to these terms?

I generally am, but this MS2 wannabe/alter/whatever is actually the most annoying poster I've ever seen on here. That's saying a lot.

It also says a lot that you let a poster like him rustle your jimmies so much when you know full and well what his agenda is.

Sorry, Didn't realize that Kansas City retaking it's rightful place as both a football and baseball city offended you. Your jealously is rather amusing.

I'm not jealous, what would I be jealous of?

I'm certainly not jealous of almost 3 decades of baseball futility at a level seldom reached in the modern era.

As far as your football team goes, I could careless about the Chiefs.

I just think it's really stupid when dorks like you who have no idea about a winning team, come on here and spout off about your losing team.

I've been hearing about the Royals impending championships since I was in HS in the 90's. It's yet to happen.

Get a clue, the rest of the KC fans on here don't seem to have such delusions of grandeur when it comes to the Royals. So, why would you choose to live in fantasy land?

Get back to your Magic the Gathering club and baseball card collection. I don't have any use for you or your pathetic Kansas City teams.

Classic. FWIW, there are more things in the world than Major League Baseball or sports in general for that matter. I love "my shite don't stink" attitude from St. Louis people because they cheer for a good baseball team. If sports rooting interest makes you feel better than others, you've got deeper issues.

The fact the Rams are so awful they should quit delaying their move to Los Angeles, and stop trying to shake down St. Louis tax payers for a stadium upgrade at possibly the worst facility in the NFL. Having an elite NFL stadium won't help the Rams win anymore games. Maybe it's the fact that the Cardinals couldn't beat the Red Sox in the World Series.

No one was claiming championships in the 90's. I repeat absolutely nobody was claiming championships when Baird was running things for the Royals. Nobody is claiming championships now. The Royals are an improved team built entirely through the draft, and is now ready to compete for division titles not World Series. The Royals will be a playoff team this year even if you won't admit it. The Twins, and White Sox don't have the starting pitching or position players to win the division. The Indians lost too much last year to compete for a playoff spot this season. The only real contenders for the division this season are the Royals and Tigers. The Tigers just lost their starting shortstop for the season, traded away Prince Fielder, traded Doug Fister for a fake Washington National World Series replica ring, lost the PED user to the Cardinals , and have Verlander coming back with elbow issues. Tell me why the Royals won't compete for the division this season. We improved in the three weakest areas from last season. We signed Omar Infante to replace Chris Getz the worst second baseman in MLB, acquired a leadoff hitter in Aoki so Gordon can drop in the lineup to a run producing spot, signed Jason Vargas to replace Santana, and have Ventura starting out the season as #5 starting pitcher.

Sorry for believing my team has a chance to compete for the division title.

My position on this issue was that we shouldn't be happy with not making the tournament, and wishing Haith got fired. I understand by firing Haith Alden will be in charge of another basketball hire, and nothing will change and the cycle will keep repeating its self. Did anyone notice the former Mizzou assistant athletic director just got hired by Virginia Tech, and possibly made one of the best hires that will happen this season in Buzz Williams?

There are no greater things than the teams I root for. My teams are better than any and all teams.

(Hang on, let me make sure my tattoo artist is getting the flags right on my World Series tatt.)

Yep, we good.

Anyway, yeah, the Cardinals are awesome, and STL is the greatest city on earth. Have you been to the arch?

It's the tallest monument in America, and there's a museum underground beneath it.

Also, ice cream was invented there. That's right, ice cream was invented in the fricking arch while it was being built.

There's even a section of town where you can go to eat said ice cream and talk about how awesome the Cardinals are. It's so much fun. We all sit around and say things like, "hello fellow best fan in baseball, how's your ice cream that was invented in the arch?" Then we all laugh, and nod at each other knowingly, like "yeah, I'd bet we'd have the best ice cream sandwiches if we wanted, too."

I bet Kansas City has none of these amenities, obviously your ice cream is sub par due to all the shitty dairies on that side of the state. Add to that your lack of a monument that is tall and makes your city easily recognizable, and I think you can see why KC is a subpar city.

Sorry to have to break it to you like that.

KC has developed a complex against the entire city and residents of StL because of the way they root for the Cardinals, I think that sheds light on deeper issues.

Cardinals fans think too highly of themselves, nobody cares that you won, it's the arrogance of a majority of Cardinals fans

Accidental down vote.

I think the penis envy comes from trying to make up for having the single biggest population of beakers in the world in their city.

It's like Israel's complex with the Palestinians. They mad cause all the Palestinians all live in Jerusalem. So they try and over come that with lifted trucks and rocket launchers.

Y'all love to pretend it's a KC thing, but it's not. People from across the nation poke fun at STL for their self-proclaimed "BFIB" and "we play the game the right way" holier than thou attitude. You just hear it from KC folks more because we share a common interest with Mizzou.

I can assure you that as someone who is neither a kU fan or cardinals fan, the similarities between ku basketball fans and cardinal baseball fans is shocking. Call it jealousy or penis-envy or whatever you would like, but to those without a vested interest in cardinals or ku, your fans are mirror images of each other.

I was about to post this exact thing. You suck for starting this thread knowing exactly what would ensue. Some people just like to watch the world burn (like pitting their own fanbase against itself)

Went to a STL v. KC games at Kauffman back around 2005 - saw about a half dozen fights and even got in one myself.

I don't give a shite about baseball, I grew up in the middle of the state - but I really dislike the Cardinals because of how douchey their fans are. While living with a bunch of them in college I started rooting for whoever they were playing due to how awful the fans were - I mean, c'mon it's friggin baseball, you shouldn't know the names of the wives of the players...that doesn't make you a good fan, it makes you lame.
