What do you think Cross does? His title might be defensive coordinator, but he's just the inside linebackers coach.

Well, we can't continue to pay Cross DC money to coach inside linebackers. That's just not going to work.
So either Cross is actually the DC again, or he needs to go and we need to bring in an experienced DC that Odom will trust to do the job.
I understand that some HC call plays. Not really a fan of it. Too much on the HC plate. Especially a young one

I don't care what he makes as long as
Cross recruits well, which the '17 and '18 players he has gotten have been good gets.
Players and coaches like, I haven't heard anything on this.
His position group plays well or improves
BO can handle the duties of HC and DC

And why keep Cross as DC in name only if he is coaching ILB? Make him ILB coach.

You may not care what he makes, but I'm sure Sterk does. At some point something has to give here.
