Folks just kind of walked out and finished packing up and left. The vibe is not good surrounding Mizzou football right now. Lots of boos for the defense today. Not a good look.

Hope the defense gets its shite together but the plebs see a not so bright future for the season.

Talked to some after the game. Seems, from what they saw, they fear a Kimbo Anderson redux and a 4-win season (if that).

I have never seen attitudes so down after a cup cake win before.

Sterk and Odom are on notice. I don't think the fan base that walks into Faurot on game days is going to take much of the same as last year of nonsense.

Odom, for a true son, is sure getting a short leash. Definitely Kim Anderson fallout.

What gets me, and has been expressed here with other posters, is how can a defense actually regress with a defensive minded coach in charge? That alone tells me he is in over his head. He has this year to prove himself. If the trend continues, he needs to go.

The Mizzou fan base kind of sucks. That's not a huge secret or anything, but we've been treated to some shitty football the past couple of years and the protest shite is still lingering.

Always said this year was hugely important for the short term health of the program and it started with a thud. The optics are bad and I'm not sure how you impress a recruit with a ton of empty seats and the fans that are there booing the team.

South Carolina becomes pretty much a must win. This program needs some positive momentum badly.

The student fan base is probably most affected by the last couple of seasons and the fan base. Students tend to be more fickle that way.

The alumni fan base sucking goes way beyond last year or the protest. It stems from the powers that be doing their best to make certain the football program was irrelevant for the better part of two decades. You're year in and year out fans are the ones who were shite on by the administration for so long.
