50/50
Reasons why he would consider Michigan:
1.He wanted to be in the B10 in the first place.
2.He would not have to do much in starting over. There are probably already some big time recruits on the squad now. So starting over really wouldn't be as difficult as some may think. Coupled with the success he has had in three years in the SEC, I don't think he would have that much trouble in getting top quality recruits.
3.The system the players were in is similar to what he likes to run. Dual threat QB.
4.He actually has a better chance of winning a national title at Michigan than he would at Mizzou. Michigan has a deeper tradition than Mizzou when it comes to football.
5.Big pay raise.
6.Wouldn't have to ask for renovations, facilities are probably already top quality and past what Mizzou has at this point.
7.Would be a great fit for Michigan.
Reasons he would stay at Mizzou:
1.Pinkel is loyal to a fault. He may stick it out here and retire. He gets along well with Alden and the University. Mizzou is putting their best effort into upgrading everything.
2.He is still building this program. Until he wins a national title or conference championship, he just may stay to see it out or until he decides he's had enough and retires.

Michigan is a total rebuild. They are a dumpster fire.

Is considering LSU though when Les Miles goes to Michigan. You heard it here.

0% and here is why
Pinkel runs Mizzou's football program, he has 100% say in upgrades, recruiting, and the overall running of the program. He gets zero interference from boosters or the AD. He runs his own ship the way that he wants to and no one can say otherwise. He has complete autonomy. That is not something he would have at Michigan, the pressure to win is too great there, especially with their current tire fire they call a program.

It would be easier to recruit there. Maybe he wants a natty

If Kentucky can out recruit Mizzou then maybe you should consider that maybe it's NOT the place but the recruiting staff that actually matters.
You've all pretty much missed why Pinkel isn't leaving. "We do what we do", and yesterday was case in point #1, programs like Michigan don't just want to "compete" they want to actually win the big one. That's why nobody will be backing up a giant truckload of cash to Pinkels door.

Has Michigan hired a coach yet? Or have I missed something or what?
