WRs and DLinemen dominated their sides of the ball.

Given what the OLine was asked to do vs a 6 man box, it wasn't a bad day, especially in pass protection where Lock was never touched. I thought that Case Cook had a good first day and the evaluators agreed.

I am looking forward to seeing what the grades look like with Pendleton back in the LU this week and the changes that brings to the play calling.

I doubt Pendelton had any real influence on play calling.

Limited book vs UT Martin in game 1.

And if you see a difference in play calling in week 2 with Pendalton it's likely more to do with it being week 2 and a better opponent.

Case Cook is a real deal. Obvious from looking at his face. Not surprised he did well.

OL sprung some leaks against a bad team. Lock not being touched had more to do with Lock on a few occasions.

Possibly. Id argue that facing a 3-3-5 first game of the season without the starting LG forced a different approach in the run game. There is no true strong call for the line because of the stack at the second level, making assignment communication paramount. The only trap action Dooley called in the first half was with Simms. It resulted in a penalty because Bailey stayed with the DT instead of getting to the Mike. Pendleton being in the game changes things significantly in terms of play calling IMO. Agree to disagree.

On 22 1st half passing attempts, Lock got pressured once. UT-M sent 7 on 3rd down. Lock found Albert for a 1st down.

Lock wasn't pressured at all on his 3 2nd half passes.

I’m excited to see what Knox can do over the course of the season.
