STL Report

Cautiously optimistic about the hire. Hasn't been a President, but has headed some substantial gains for UConn, particularly in the STEM arenas (where major research happens). Cautious because this is his first big leap to a major leadership position.

On another playing field, I am curious to see how people respond to his ethnicity. Asians are a minority, but have become the most OVER-represented ethnic grouping at universities across the country.

Looks to have an impressive resume. Race shouldn't really matter. We just need someone that's a great leader.

Looks very solid based on his credentials. That should be a good pick up for Mizzou.

Does the fact that UConn is offering segregated dorms for black males not worry anyone about this hire?

Do you think he'll expand that to Missouri?
