No word on the infraction, but apparently he's not suspended any longer

Shame he missed a month of reps. If he cleans ups his technique he could be a special player.

What's wrong with his technique? Just asking

Consistent ball leverage. He gets a little loose when he changes direction.

Patience behind his blocks/running behind his pads.

In other words, he needs to pay very close attention to what Crockett does

Going back to 2008, no MU RB has averaged more YPC vs conference opponents than Crockett's 7.34. Tough to argue with what he is doing.

Crockett gets going north south and then is elusive.

Strong needs to get rid of the Maty Mauk syndrome of thinking he's in high school and can run backwards 10 yards to escape defenders and then turn up field. Could get away with that in high school...not the SEC. If he gets going north and south, hitting the hole with explosive patience, he will be a good one.

Strong is our fastest back by a good measure. If he can start running with more of a one cut mentality he can be damn good.

If the crease is there early he gets downhill . If he isn't comfortable, he gets his pads headed for the sideline. Another half step at the LOS would let him find the cutback at worst or let the OG get a hand on an LB. Strong has more top end than Crockett and would cause a lot of issues hitting the second level after slipping some contact. He has a little time left and this fall. I'd like to see him put it together.

He needs to do what Ish did last year; become more north/south and less east/west
