I was thinking the same....... Has to do his heart good to see that arena rocking like it was.

I was at the game and all during halftime I was thinking that this is probably his swan song. Glad I got to witness it.

For folks my age (46), football was for a long time just an excuse to drink and pass time til November. He was the source of any pride we had as Mizzou fans. He made us relevant.

Can honestly say that man was a pretty important part of my life for many years. If this is to be his final tribute, I'm glad he got to be there for it.

I caught the highlights (obviously I wasn't getting pysched up for the LSU football game today for some reason) and I have to say Mizzou looked really good.

Should be a solid SEC this year in basketball with some great games to watch.
