It's award time.
This team has exceeded our expectations. With that narrative in mind, I present to you a post that exceeds your best expectations.
I call it,
The True Son Awards
Ok, here we go...
Henry Josey
You are Missouri Football. You will forever be a legend, and, most likely, you'll be back next year. HJ20, thank you for just being you. Yeah, Legend True Son Award
James Franklin
You stepped up my friend. When the cards were down you showed nothing but Aces. You shall go down with Brad and Chase as far as I'm concerned. I personally apologize for getting pissed at you last year. You were hurt. You proved your meddle. True Son Award.
Michael Sam
You dominated in the trenches, you left it all out there. Teams got wind of your dominance after the Florida game. It doesn't matter you left it all out there on the field for us to enjoy. You get the Stonewall True Son Award.
E.J. Gains
I'm gonna miss you the most broham, not having you against USCe showed. You destroyed that one guy from aTm, what's his name? You made me forget. Oh, yeah Evans. He good.
You were better. Congrats on, The Dave Matter Mizzou Coverage True Son Award. Nice job.
Kony Ealy
You sir, are a mad man. A true force to be reckoned with. I imagine I'll see you on Sundays. New Madrid's finest for sure. You get the True Son I'll most likely see on Sundays Award.
Finally, the ultimate True Son Award.
The Quantrill Award
This is the first year for this award, as are all the awards I've designated tonight.
Regardless, this is the most special. As deemed by myself, the Quantrill Award is awarded to the player or players that exude Missouri. The Quantrill Award goes to the player that is Missouri football.
I'm proud and humbled to present the Quantrill Award for 2013 to Max Copeland.
Max Copeland
He is what Missouri Footballl should stand for. As a walk on, Max always stood strong to his dream. He also majored in Physics, which is kick arse.
Congrats Mad Max. Your bloodied nose bridge will always be a memory of this 2013 team.
Lastly, The Continuing Problem True Son Award goes to the entire team. Yinz will be a continuing problem for the SEC. Hold that trophy high!

He's been one of my favorite players for the past couple of years. He's overcome so much, and I'm proud of him. Hope he blows them away at the combine.
