There's plenty out there I'm sure, it looks like a lot of new Mizzou posters have been joining the Rant lately.

Hi guys! Thanks for giving me a shot I look forward to staying out of your way and trying to contribute where I can. I hope many of you get to Athens this weekend or in the future. Many friends told me how they were warmly received last year when they made the trip up there, I expect you to find the same courtesy in Athens.

Likewise. It's been a long year. It's a good feeling to finally have some positive mojo going to talk about. Kinda sucked when it was hard to find much positive happening.

Welcome Americus. I fully expect you to stick with UGA, but what kind of score prediction you got for the game this weekend? BTW - The UGA fanbase has been one of my favorites in the SEC.

I agree, last year got pretty rough. This UGA game is beyond huge and it could be the turning point for a great season.

I really enjoyed the Georgia fans I met last year - WGDawg and his friends were awesome.

All of a sudden this game has gone from a sleeper to one of the most interesting games of the weekend. Wish I could be in Athens to enjoy it! It's such a great town.

UGA has a good base, with crazies like everywhere else. As far as a prediction, I would say take the over! UGA covering 9 or 10 looks like a longshot. We are beat up, young, and your bunch will be excited to show what they have in between the hedges. Load the box, attack the secondary. 35-31. We are gonna have to watch to see who wins! I'll be happy if we get through with no injuries. Honestly, losing to Clemson was a lot easier, than losing those guys you cheer for go down last weekend.

Athens is an amazing little town. This game is getting little attention, but I am nervous about it, as are many Bulldog faithful. Many think the injuries will do us in, but we won in Knoxville. A lot of kids have been thrown in the mix, a few more will get there shot Saturday. Being 4 receivers and 2 running backs short, not counting 2 back up receivers, will be hard to overcome. We are just thankful we are at home....that is all we got going for us at the moment.

Welcome aboard hissing. I'm fairly new around here myself. I look forward to your basketball analysis, as I have no idea what to expect of the hoops team this year. I hope that you will make a thread on the main rant page soon so that we can get some good hoops discussion going.

Me either, to tell you the truth.

The talent is there, but a lot of it will depend upon how well Post executes his role alongside Clarkson/Clark in the pick-and-roll. It was a major strength of Ratliffe's, but it took Oriakhi a while to get it down last season (and to be fair, Flip didn't make things very easy on his teammates in '12-'13, especially after it became apparent to opponents that you could just leave him open and he'd toss up a brick from 23 feet).

Post needs to rebound and play defense, of course, but a major key to this team's potential is his ability to roll to the basket and get in position to receive the ball near the rim after he sets that top-of-the-key pick for the PG.

I'm new. Thought I'd create an account here to supplement my Tigerboard account and to interact with fans from opposing SEC schools.

Hi everyone. I was born and raised in STL and attended Mizzou during the dark days of Stull and Smith. I moved around the country a bit and lived in London for a while too, but came back to STL about 6 years ago. I am married to a UT (Texas) fan and can't tell you how satisfying it was to leave the Big Texas league with a W!

I came here a bit last year but started doing some serious lurking after the Toledo game. Glad to be here on the cusp of our turnaround!

Hello all new posters, and welcome.

For those of you that are still around in two weeks, I look forward to future discussions and potential porn link trading.

Just trying to ease my way in and give respect, so that some may be earned! There are solid UGA posters here that are giving some great perspective and insight, and asking good questions anyway! One of my friends that came up last year said, "there just too damn nice". That seems to be true on your board as well. You got to go hard on the other boards or they will eat you alive
What say you as far as score predictions?
