Michael Sam

If you get a chance, watch Michael Sam's press conference at the combine. I just watched it on the NFL Network and was thoroughly impressed.

In this day and age where so many athletes speak a language other than English. In this day and age of prima donnas talking about me, me me. In this day and age of kids getting arrested for smoking dope or assaulting a woman or whatever legal trouble. Listening to him, I am convinced that Sam is of higher character than just about anyone else entering the draft. He is more well spoken than anyone else entering the draft. While confident, he is more selfless than anyone else entering the draft.

Frankly, I think all of these things shine through so brightly in his interview that his draft grade may actually go up because his character and ability to handle scrutiny completely outshines any other issues he may bring.

If you want to see how a football player should carry himself, watch Michael Sam.
