My feeling are simple regarding Michael Dixon

You screwed our season last season and had the nerve to travel with the team to the Bahamas and decide that after the trip it was in your best interest to leave the University of Missouri. I also feel that even though there is no proof that you committed the crimes you are in my mind guilty. If it happens once okay maybe the girl is a crazy nut, but twice something stinks to high hell again you don't have my support and may you please not make the tournament this year

Micahel Dixon is a shite

He was on campus a week or so ago, texting up ladies and getting rejected

I meant that from the standpoint that he has been fortunate to get another chance, and I wish him luck in not wasting it. He apparently has not learned his lesson. If this is truly the case, he'll eventually end up in jail.

You're too nice semo.

He should not have another chance, that's just me.

I'm with ya Tom. Frankly he had his second chance after the first incident was swept under the rug.

Checked in at TB for recruiting update and I was a bit shocked to see many, if not most, defending Dixon and saying he was railroaded. Seriously?

I don't think he was railroaded, I think he was guilty as hell of the first offense. The one last year was questionable - if a girl truly felt she'd been sexually assaulted, I don't think she'd be texting him wanting to get together again.

I think he's a piece of trash. He was fortunate to be given another opportunity, and I wish luck to anyone who tries to get their life back on track - as I was hoping he would do. However, he seems not to see anything wrong with his previous actions, and apparently hasn't changed if he's still around trying to pick up chicks. So, the females in Memphis need to be forewarned. If he keeps this behavior up, he'll likely end up in jail.

was he ever charged or even talked to by the authorities in Boone County?

We all know the Missouri Athletic department and the PoPo in Columbia are not the best of friends. If he was not even questioned that means a lot.

On the first incident, when he was a freshman, the girl refused to make a report. So while it likely happened, she wouldn't pursue it. She was apparently scared off by watching what happened to her roommate, who was assaulted by DWash and didn't want to deal with all the crap. So there was nothing that could be done.

The police questioned him on the incident last summer, but refused to press charges because the story was too shaky.

And to be clear - I think sexual assaults are among the very worst crimes there are. But I when the best for anyone who tries to make a fresh start and get their life back on track. In order to do that though, you have to learn from your mistakes, and he doesn't show signs of this. Unless he does, he'll waste this chance he's been given and end up in jail. Which he will richly deserve.
