I thought it was an SEC rule that prevented him from being eligible.

Yes.....we have them, OR doesn't

It as both NCAA and SEC rules.
He didn't get a waiver from the NCAA for his year of juco, even though the school shut down its football program.
Because of that, I believe he only has 1 year of eligibility left. Which the SEC doesn't allow that type of transfer.
Stupid rules screwed Young in this case.

Right. It didn't have anything to do with Mizzou

He can petition for a second year with the NCAA. Plus he's now with a school that has a more legitimate chance for a National Championship run.

I hope that you are looking in the mirror when you said that.(idiot)
Oregon has a better chance at a National Championship run than us in the near future, don't they?

Not really. USC and Washington are the only PAC teams that are recruiting at championship level.

This upcoming year which is the only year that he will be eligible?
No, they've got about the same chance as we do. Roughly zero

Well maybe Taggart has a chance to get it done then, in a couple of years. Oregon will still have to deal with USC, Washington and Standford just to get out of the PAC.

They say that he can petition for that extra year as for where at Mizzou being in the SEC he couldn't.

You could be right zou, who knows. They have definitely recruited better than us the past few years and the pac10 is easier than beating bama in the seccg. I dont realistically think either one of us has a chance though.
