Mack interviewed Calhoun, Bobo, Wells

SI reports Wells not interviewing for Mizzou job and has had no contact with them.

What a guessing game this hiring stuff is...

Now Mack may NOT have interviewed Wells OR Bobo in Denver. The plot thickens. Was it only Calhoun who interviewed?? From SBN:

It is unclear if Bobo also interviewed for this job as he was out on the recruiting trail, so an in-person interview may not have happened. Also, Rams athletic director Joe Parker has said there has been no contact from other schools about Bobo.

"Mike Bobo is on the road recruiting the next great class of Colorado State Rams," Parker said Tuesday. "I have not been contacted by any school in regards to its head coaching vacancy."

I don't believe any of that shite. Rhoades has passed on Dykes twice at a lesser school, why would he all of a sudden hire him now?

Sounds like dykes was his #2, if #1 isn't available you default to #2.

The "lesser school" aspect has little to no meaning. Are you going to hire a lesser candidate because of your positioning? No, you get the person you feel is best qualified to lead you to the promised land.
