3. Missouri. This could be a real under the radar unit. Johnathan Johnson is among the tops in the SEC, even if OAYP doesn’t think so. On the other hand, the advanced numbers love Jalen Know, who had 419 yards on just 27 catches. Kam Scott’s 4.14 OAYP broke the scale in limited action, and is a top contender for a breakout season. The Tigers also boast the best tight end in the conference in Albert Okwuegbunam. They had the second best catch rate and yards per target of a receiving corps that actually returns any of their top three receivers.

Jalen Know??? Dumbasses

No way USCe is better than us

I feel like usc has a pretty big drop off after their top 1 or 2 receivers.

Smith and Johnson are comparable players. Edwards would start outside for Missouri. I don't have a problem with were they are ranked.

Knox has to refine up his hand technique. Being a true Fr only goes so far. He ended the season catching around 47% of his targets. That number has to be 60%. He can separate and is an excellent blocker. You look at just about any highlight of a long run and he is out there sealing his man. I think the upside is tremendous. If he wants to be a #1 he has to make the 7 yard plays too.

Nance and Scott is a position battle to watch in camp. I touched on Nance in another thread but I think at worst he is comparable to J'Mon Moore with the ball in his hands. Scott's ceiling is higher IMO, but does he reach that this year? If the finer points aren't there, Nance will take primary reps. Pretty solid rotation no matter how you look at it.

Boone or Massey will figure into things as well. Ofodile had more penalties than receptions last year. If the message to STL players is that the best man plays, one of them has to be the 4th guy up outside. You put him on chart under the #1 and redshirt the other.

Digging through some #s and had forgotten the 47 receptions Dimetrios Mason had as a true FR. This would have been his SR season.
