Time to make the switch. Mauk has timing issues wih recievers. It's pronounced also because of a lack of an OC. It's time to give Lock some back to back series. He earned it tonight. He can make the throws Mauk can't make. I think Mauk has reached his ceiling. He's as good as he is going to get. He doesn't have enough talent to make Henson look half way decent. Lock does.

Lock looked great tonight.

He has to figure out that deep pass to the end zone though.

He's floating it, or under throwing it. Either way it's not there.

That being said, yep, Mauk didn't do anything tonight that told me he should be the starter.

Lock did.

Mauk needs to go. Pinkel has tonight to use as ammo for a changing of the guard.

But holy shite our o line fricking sucks. Ricker needs to go.

Mauk did well for the first 3 quarters, these receivers are without doubt the worst part of this team.

Without moore's dropped touchdown and the phantom PI we win this game.

Interesting

I don't even want to get started again on the PI call that cost us the game and Simon.

You can't sit there and tell me Mauk has improved. What? He didn't throw an INT? That's the progress we are looking for out of Mauk? He did throw a pick six but it was called back for a penalty. He was at the point in the game where he was frazzled. He started going back to what he has always done, just wing it and pray. Mauk over threw 4 or five receivers, BY A LOT. He just looked bad in the second half. His legs helped him sustain drives but that's about it.

Lock on the other hand made some throws Mauk could only dream he'd make. He knew it. You could tell by his dejected look while Lock was playing. He knows it's only a matter of time. But good ole HCGP will stick with Mauk until it's too late.

The time is now.
