OUT

Hansbrough- Returning 1000 yard rusher
Brantley- returning All SEC DT

Now add

Brothers- One of the best LB in the country
Culkin- starting TE
Crawford- Starting RT
Simon- Starting safety

Add all that to the numerous other issues we have and it's really hard to see a way to pull through this. Pinkel has his work cut out for him. No doubt.

More chances for some young players to get it done, pull more red shirts if needed.

Missouri depth chart: LB Kentrell Brothers (ankle) is questionable for SC game. RT Nate Crawford & TE Sean Culkin both listed as out

RB Morgan Steward now listed as out for the season. Pinkel said Saturday MU will pursue an extra year of eligibility

That's not good. Brothers, even if he plays will be at a limited capacity. Who stepped in for him after he went down?

We gave up nearly a full yard more per play after he went down.

Newsome & Green replaced him. Both those guys play quite a bit.

Yea I guess Newsome would move over and Green come on at sam, Newsome had a decent game getting to the line to make tackles.

Too much blather about "tackle stats" in the media, when many don't seem to understand it matters greatly WHERE you make the tackle.

That's what I figured. Green would be our most experienced backup LB for sure. I guess they moved Newsom over to Will?

Brothers wasn't tackling guys way downfield. That made his stops way impressive. PFF has a thing that grades players Brothers was the top LB, and way ahead of all other players in stops. Stops are basically sacks, TFL, tackles within 2-3 yards of LOS, passes defended, & FF.

yea I was referring more to Scherrer, who racked up a lot of tackles after the runner made a 5 yard or so gain.

At the rate Arkansas and Missouri are going as far as injuries we both may have to draft warm bodies from random students by the time our game finally rolls around.
