I can't say I'm on the bandwagon, but will certainly give the man a chance. He is all about Missouri basketball.

I am all on board with it. Marshall was my first choice but he said no. Anderson was my second choice and I am happy with the hire. When was the last time you saw Mizzou actually play well? Haith did not rebound or play defense. 40 minutes of What the hell? Kim Anderson can coach. Recruiting is certainly a question but you don't win consistently without being able to coach. So I'll take a "coach" and see if he can recruit.

I'm on the football, volleyball, wrestling and softball bandwagon. Once Anderson gets to the final 4, I'll watch a game or 2. Until then, just not interested.

I like it just because it's a fun hire. Think of it this way:
We hire a Frank Haith type (relatively no-name, sketchy scruples), we pretty much know he ain't gonna have sustained winning.
We hire a Marshall type, we pretty much know we're gonna win for 3-6 years till he jumps ship for a blue blood. (don't get me wrong I'd love to see us win, wouldn't have minded Marshall in the slightest)
But with Anderson, this really is an adventure. He's a proven winner (admittedly at a lower level, but you can't say he doesn't know how to coach the game with a record like that) and if he does well, he'll be here for a while. Hell, Coach K and Jim Boeheim are both in their upper 60s, and they aren't goin anywhere for a while.
Honestly, I'm just gonna gonna enjoy the ride.

The biggest positive I take from the Anderson hire is possibly creating a Norm Stewart tree where in 20 years we will have Mizzou alums/players at head coach that we know won't go anywhere. Just got to get more of the other guys coaching it up in college more than high school.

Thank God football has been resurrected, Mizzou is a football school historically and now has come full circle. I hope he does well and even if he pans out, it was still a ball less shite hire from or no balls AD, Alden must have NO part in hiring the next Football coach.
