Saturday Down South said something that had me very interested. Said home teams with Thursday night games win around 80% of the time. Wonder if this is true? If so, I feel a lot better about our chances in that Miss St. game.

Seems about right. Thursday night environments seem like a tough road trip. Not your usual schedule and the kids like to get after it on Thursdays.

Good call...but is that accurate? I'd love to see the numbers/games for a sample. Were they good teams, lopsided, etc?

Did Sate really lose that much? All I know from last year Dak.

Quick answer is yes. They have some guys that will slip in but bottom line is yes. Looking at their depth chart in their last SEC game:

They lost 2 of their 3 starting WR's though their top 2 in yardage do return.

They lost their top 2 RB's. #1 had 1200 yards. #2 had 300 yards. Imagine what #3 had.

They lost their top 2 TE's.

They lost their starting LT, both C's, and RG.

Dak obviously returns.

Lost 3 of the 4 DT's in their 2 deep.

Both DE's return however.

2 of 3 starting LB's gone.

1 of 2 starting CB's gone.

1 of 2 starting S's gone.

Has nothing to do with them; we're just better.

I agree, I feel like Mizzou will just be better this year.
