Ya I'm not a huge fan of the noon kickoff either but it'll give me a full day afterwards to hit the bars as I've heard they are some of the best in bars in the country

Edit: Semo sounds like you and WG had a good time last year, I'll try and meet up with him on Friday night maybe for a drink or a few

Y'all should meet up for a beer! Drink one for me!

And I can attest that WG handled that beer bong like a champ!

I don't see Missouri v. Vandy as a snoozer. Most expect it to be a really close game. But if you are right and we go in and stomp them, it will make our game in Athens more interesting - false hope is better than no hope. As it stands now, I expect Mizzou to get run over in Georgia.

I don't think UGA will "run over" missouri, for several reasons I've already mentioned:

1)Might not have Gurley, and if we do he likely won't be 100%. Marshall is great, and would start for probably 100 other programs, but there's simply no replacing Gurley
2)Missouri has a very potent offense and our defense is questionable.
3)It's at noon.

I do hope that missouri can get ranked after this weekend.

If we win this weekend I have almost no doubt we should get into the top 25

Fingers crossed. Gotta win first though.

I sent you an email FT, did you see it?

Semo just went and checked my email, that looks intriguing. I'd be willing to participate in that

Gurley is unlikely to get many, if any carries vs tenn and should be healthy for mizzou. Of course i said the same for north tex game too.

Welcome, deeprig! Glad to have you! How serious is Gurley's injury?

It's not TOO serious, but it's enough to where he hasn't practiced this week and likely won't play.

After he went out, he jogged to the lockerrom and was jumping and dancing on the sideline. They put a boot on him and is supposed to be using crutches this week but Richt said he's not using them. It was a sprain, but not severe. If it were up to me I'd sit him against missouri too unless we absolutely needed him. We'll definitely need him for florida.

He is an absolute beast. Probably would be best if you sat him against Mizzou IMO. Seriously though, good that it sounds like it's not too serious.

If he played defense, you might need him against Missouri - our offense is good. But you probably wouldn't need him on offense - our defense is suspect.

I always wondered what kind of stuff those guys are getting shot up with in the locker room. I remember when acl tears were career ending, now there seem to be more and more miraculous recoveries.

Part of it is improved medical care. They've made a lot of strides in treating sports injuries. But yeah, I wonder too.

nevermind what I said, Deep. I was confusing you with someone else.

Accept my apologies.

Not that I want to get involved in the various little side feuds on here, but...

First of all, rig didn't mention eddie printz, it was dallas on our board. But the biggest disservice I think you're doing is not taking the posts on THIS board for what they are. I don't know what all rig has said about missouri on our board or others, but I just scanned his post history and every post of his on THIS board has been perfectly civil and cordial. Look for yourself.

There are several posters on the UGA board, a few SC fans come to mind first, that hate UGA and talk made shite on their board or the SECR, but on the UGA board they wipe their feet and take off their hat and are perfect guests. I vouched for rig, so I don't want to be guilty by association of anything..but like I said, he's said absolutely nothing out of line here on your home board. So just keep that in mind.
