It’s hard to know exactly what the season is going to be like after one game, especially against a team that has one win against an FBS team.

But the team came out, dominated and looked like a vastly more talented team.

Play calling seemed pretty good to me. It wasn’t conservative. But it wasn’t stupid either. And they seemed to take what Martin gave them.

Lots of FR playing. That can’t hurt us long-term.

Barry is real.

He spots real football players.

He isn't a gimmick. His players aren't gimmicks. And now his coordinators aren't gimmicks either.

Balanced. Rational. Intelligent. True. Solid.

This schedule is nuts though. Georgia. SC. Bama. Then no breaks with Memphis who looked every bit as good as last year.

Florida, TN, Arkansas and even Vandy will be better than they all were last year.

No shame in 8 wins if that's what happens.

This program is on solid ground and the right man is running the show.

Yep, good start. They dominated a weaker opponent as they should. Our first game last year was an embarrassing win, so this was a good win in comparison. Only real complaint I have is protecting Lock better, like when to pull him out of a lopsided game, and the right times to let him run. I get the Heisman stats and all that, but if he gets injured, those stats may not matter and the season is probably lost.

They pulled him as early as they could have, IMO.

I didn’t like the QB run call. But all’s well that ends well.

My take away

BO had the team ready to play the 1st game of the season..... Nice improvement

Thought both sides of the ball played solid for the most part.

Dooley's O play calling was decent. Interested to see more over the next few weeks.

A few too many drops, but not worried after one game.

Think the D Line could be special.

Looking forward to Week two

What'd you expect? He's gonna stay on page 1 in that game.

We saw the basics of a diverse and balanced offense.

I'd say what we saw was excellent.

Thank god we have you here to tell everyone why they’re wrong.

He's not wrong.

It's just an odd choice of language - to call it 'decent'.

Fans have been pleading for sensical things like going under center when it's necessary and blending the best elements of spread and pro-style.

It appears we have done exactly that.

The entire game was called in an intelligent way without being too revealing.

Too many missed tackles/plays that weren't finished by the D

Return game is still TBD

Kicking game seems solid
