Cirrus is cool because I've got an overbearing chick that doesn't understand that a parachute is stupid. That's the one with the chute, so we pay extra.
Right now we're starting a business and I made her promise that the first thing we do with the new money is get her a PPL so she can understand why a parachute in a plane with a slow as shite stall speed is pretty dumb.
I rent, but I haven't spent as much time as I need to with the new business and such so I'm going to lapse. It's just amazing to me how my dreams of flying airliners has devolved into convincing my chick I don't need a parachute by trying to teach her how to fly.
It's going to be an awesome experience, but it's so far from what I thought my life would be. Aviation isn't the focus, it's a hobby that I can't really fit in to time anymore.
