I'm as close to melting since USC 2013, and that was a bad melt for me.

Yeah, please don't do that again.

I don't have a good feeling either. Unless they figure something out, it'll be a long year. The D will keep us in some games, but they can't win them if the O doesn't get a pulse.

I thought MM was trying to manage the game a lot more conservatively (and the 2nd half against Arky St)....almost to the point of being TOO conservative. It's not just MM...it's the line, the receivers, the backs....the play calling, the execution of the plays.....the timing of a dropped pass or bad throw.....whatever can go wrong has....and we're 3-0. I think RH will make a difference but everyone has to do their jobs better......and of course drive a lot less.

What was disturbing from a Mauk point of view was their successful use of a three-man line in straight passing situations. I couldn't tell definitively, but it looked like they used a spy behind it to deny the QB draw and the deep routes to put all the emphasis on Maty beating them with the short to intermediate stuff he sucks at.

Mizzou's in for a long season if they can't get the running game going.

Lock is just so much better getting receivers the ball in the short game

You were there. Were they using a spy on Mauk?

There's no denying everything looks much more fluid with Lock at quarterback.

I trust Pinkel will know the proper time to make the switch for Lock's long-term development.
