Draft prospects whose 2018 production didn't meet the hype

Drew Lock made this list.
Lock’s strengths and weaknesses are incredibly well defined. He has a cannon for an arm that can make any throw asked of it. His 28 big-time throws are fifth-most in college football this season. At the same time, he plays in a very simplistic offense where he still regularly misses lay-up throws. His 70.0 adjusted completion percentage is 47th among quarterbacks with at least 200 dropbacks this season. That’s a far cry from other top prospects Dwayne Haskins (74.8%), Will Grier (74.3%) and Kyler Murray (77.6%) and it’s a big reason why, despite the impressive throws down the field, he only has an 84.8 overall grade. That sort of inaccuracy will only get exacerbated at the NFL level.

I haven't looked into those guys but I'm also going to bet that a majority of the guys he lists will still be first round draft picks.

Drew will be the 1st QB off the board

The lack of quality WRs really hurt Lock. I'm sure "adjusted" accounts for drops but I don't think it accounts for catches that were not routine. Those other QBs definitely got help in that category.
They keep saying he struggles on the mid to short throws but I haven't seen anything that would be concerning. The fact of the matter is, when it comes to full strength passes, Lock is the best and most accurate passer in the country to go along with possibly the strongest arm in the class, too.

He played better when he had a healthy Hall. He got better in his short to intermediate throws, but he was awful against good defenses.

Lock may or may not have been awful vs good defenses. It is a worthy discussion for debate. One thing not debatable is the WRs and TEs were beyond pathetic against good defenses. No ability to get open and couldn't make catches when they were hit in the chest. And making plays to "help" lock in those games? fuhgetaboutit.
