Yeh it's looking good from the outside. Trying to hold myself back a bit till we see how all these pieces fit if they fit.

I hope Josh can take Lock over the top. He's got to be excited to have a player like Lock. Really even with Mauk, here too, Josh has to be chomping at the bit. Would love to see Josh in a rematch with the old O and U and Stoops.

There is also word that Odom is looking at the S&C guy at Memphis to fill that position here.

I don't know why but I just trust Odom. He's been around this team at it's worst and has probably sat back and evaluated what he thought the problems were and I think we're seeing that with the release of some assistants. Even though they are good assistants at their initial job, they probably had a way of becoming too comfortable around Pinkel because of Pinkel's loyalty to them. Also, it appears or I get the impression with Odom, he makes the final call.
