Big Weekend for #5 Mizzou Wrestling @ #2 Oklahoma St

Oklahoma St is the last team to beat Mizzou in a dual, and they have the lineup that puts the streak in jeopardy. HUGE dual matchup down in Stillwater.
125- #10 Barlow vs #5 Eddie Klimara: Klimara is as good as they come, with the senior knocking off some top ranked kids frequently. If Barlow is for real, this would be a great time to show it.
133- #10 Synon vs UR Harding: Super True Frosh Kaid Brock is done for the year after tearing up his knee, but Harding is no slouch, as he was a NCAA qualifier last season, and just beat #15 in a dual yesterday. Will likely be ranked once he gets some more matches in. Synon needs to come up big.
141- #5 Manley vs #1 Dean Heil: 141 is one of the most wide open weight classes, but Heil has passed every test thus far. Manley has some extra motivation, being passed over from the cowboys despite being from Oklahoma. Another huge matchup. If Manley can pull off an upset, the entire weight might go beserk.
149- #4 Mayes vs #18 Collica: Mayes has been anything but dominant this season, and Collica has been known to pull upsets. Lavion better step his game up.
157- UR Barnes vs #6 Jo Jo Smith: Super True Frosh Jo Jo has pulled his redshirt. He also happens to be the legendary coach John Smith's son, and is legit. He replaced former #1 overall recruit Chance Marstellar, who is going through weight cut problems and personal issues. Barnes needs to limit the damage.
165- #9 Lewis vs #1 Dieringer: Uh, don't get your arms ripped off daniel. Dieringer is a 2X defending champ and was seconds away from a 3rd his freshman year too. Now a senior, no one is even close to his level, and is the Hodge Trophy (wrestling's Heisman) favorite.
174- #9 Butler vs #4 Crutchmer: Should be a great matchup. Butler tumbled a bit after his loss to Realbuto, but Crutchmer didn't see the same fall after losing twice (previously #1). In another wide open weight class, this one will be huge for the national landscape for the weight.
184- #5 Miklus vs #17 Boyd: Wow, Boyd has really tumbled. Was ranked #2 at one point, but has really fallen. Miklus needs to put his foot on the gas and crush boyd while he is down.
197- #2 J'den vs UR Andrew Marsden: Marsden is the freshman younger brother of the ranked heavyweight, and another True Frosh who pulled the redshirt on the super recruiting class for the Cowboys. He shouldn't really pose a threat to J'den though.
285- UR Romero vs #5 Austin Marsden: The older Marsden is legit.
I really like 4 of our matchups. 197, 184, 149, and 133 should all be wins...and hopefully can get some of the bonus point variety, because we will need it.
We will not win 285, 165, or 157. Have to limit bonus points.
Matches that can be won- 125, 141, and 174. Take all three and we win the dual. Take 2 and it becomes really close and probably a win. Take 1 and I doubt we get the bonus points, but still possible to win. Lose all 3, the streak is over. Mind you, winning ANY of the 3 would be a pretty big upset.

Can't wait but I got that feeling that that streak is going to come to an end. I think we'll show strong but OSU is just too much in the end.

No idea what any of this means but go Mizzou!

Is the match streamed anywhere?

Getting our asses kicked. Synon sucks. He's completely over rated IMO at #10. Just don't like his style.

Granted I'm listening to the OSU radio, but sounded like McGhee ran like a bitch as seemed happy with a 2-1 loss. Synon just got it handed to him by an UR guy if I'm not mistaken.

Manley got his arse kicked. But I guess that was expected. Down 9-0.

Mayes gets it turned around with a decision but doesn't get the bonus points so badly needed. 9-3 now.

Barnes getting his arse kicked big time. Down something like 12-3.

Another match. Another loss. A good old fashioned arse whoopin.

He actually lost 10-4, not 12-3.
All of the matches have been close
#1 Derringer beat Lews 4-3

I think I was giving the team scores. Not the score of that match. Are you watching it? I'm only listening and it's the OSU guys doing it so it could be biased but it sure sure sounds like we're just trying to keep losses close instead of wrestling to win.

Miklus taken down twice in the first.

And now a reversal. Down something like 6-1.
