As an aside, there is talk that Booker and Tyler Ulis may want to play together. Both visited MSU and UK together. Mizzou made a late offer to Ulis towards the end of July. Could this be why? Ulis apparently is making his announcement this Friday. If it's one of those, I wouldn't be surprised to see Booker end up in the same place, though I think he'll finish out all of his official visits out of respect for his dad. I also wouldn't be surprised if Hill commits to Mizzou then and plays with Gant.

Either way I like the way the basketball team is taking shape and it seems like FH is all over the place recruiting 24/7. Yeah the 5* teams get all the attention but its the teams that are loaded with 4* players who stay 3 or 4 years and get maybe one or two 5* players that are winning the nation titles.

Damn. I would absolutely be thrilled. Yes, I'd love to get Booker and a Booker commitment has other intangibles, but would absolutely love Hill, Gant and Sandifer. Do you think Hill feels any pressure to commit before Booker visits for fear that there's an outside chance Booker commits during the visit since it's his last one? Thoughts?

Yes I'm with you that Hill might feel a bit of pressure towards that, also think by this point some recruits are just ready to be done with it and make a pick.
Overall though I think kids (especially big time recruits) don't think much about others as far as competition for a limited number of spots on a certain team. They are all very confident and don't really worry about other recruits as much as we think or as they probably should. So it might be a little bit of good pressure but I don't think so. Has plenty of big time offers.

I doubt it. The guy has offers from Florida, Indiana, etc. He can go just about where ever he wants, and most places like Mizzou would find a way to make room for him with or without Booker.

Hill announced today that he wont take the visit he had scheduled coming up at Indiana so he is down to Marquette and Mizzou now. Lots of pro MIZ talk there. Pretty exciting stuff.

I watched video of that interview. Unless we screw it up, or someone else just steps in and wows him, I think he's ours.

Dont think its anything to stress yet but the UGA recruiting site is reporting they are hearing that Jakeenan Gant will take another visit to UGA at some point. Says a lot of people in his hometown want him to stay in state or at least closer to home.
Not sure how much of it I believe or if I would worry about it, but it is from a pretty strong source.

I'm sure he's getting all kinds of pressure. Probably won't stop either until he signs, which can't get here fast enough.

He may still take the visit, but at least as of 4 days ago, he was tweeting about how it's a good day to be a mizzou tiger and how he was trying to get Hill to come to Mizzou.

Ya he definitely is all Mizzou right now,just will be nice when November rolls around and he can sign so we don't have to worry about any outside pressures changing his mind.

Does that mean we're out on both Booker and Hill or does that mean Sandifer rumors of going the prep route are true? Concerned if we're out on Hill, might lose Gant too.
