The team will need to add some scorers if Clarkson and Brown both turn pro. I'm excited about the two incoming freshman but hopefully Biedscheid and the Juco can be outside threats.

Yeah, I've been wondering where the points come from next year if Clarkson, Brown and Ross are gone. Post? Rosburg? JW3? Jones? Clark? Bello? Price? Biedscheid? Gant? Wright? None of whom have proven they can score at this level.

I don't think Brown should go pro.....He would be a late 2nd rounder guaranteed.

We still see kids opt for the draft and not get drafted like Flip or the two Ark players. They can still make a nice living over seas.

Harry Giles 5* PF 2016
He's the #3 ranked player in the same class with Jayson Tatum who is ranked #5.

Torian Graham, the juco guard MU is going after was one of the 3 players at his community college that were arrested for eating pot. Not sure how that affects anything in his college options.

Tatum averaging 24.8 ppg and among leaders in the state in ppg, apg and rpg...and he's a sophomore still. 6' 7" SG/SF and growing. For once I'd like to keep one of these Beal/Lee/Porter type kids in state.

We need to get Tatum. Who was the last highly recruited basketball player we got from St. Louis? They always seem to go to florida or some shite.
I can't remember one of the top of my head.
EDIT----
Ok. After doing a little research our last 4* recruit from STL was Kalen Grimes in 2004.
We have had two recruits from STL since him. Obviously Rosburg-3* and the other was Matt Lawrence-unrated.
Rivals only goes back to 2002. That year we got Jimmy McKinney-3*
In the last 12 recruiting classes we've gotten 4 kids from STL. Not good.

For sure, we need to recruit better in St. Louis. Also Memphis and Chicago, IMO. We never pull recruits from Chicago, and I'd think that would be a great territory for us.

Chicago is going to be tough to recruit with it being pretty much a central location in the Big 10. I think having a big alumni base and a lot of students coming from there will help.
I agree. Memphis is a place we need to hit really hard.

The bad news: Both David Lee and Bradley Beal went to the same high school as Tatum...Chaminade...and both went to Florida.
The good news: Chaminade has a new head coach now so maybe there's not the same relationship with Donovan and company.

Does the HS coach play as big a role in basketball as football? It seems like the AAU connections (and others) play a larger role.
Eta: looks like he's on the same AAU team that Beal and Lee were on.

No doubt that the AAU coaches have a lot of sway, but Kelvin Lee was about as influential in high school basketball in St. Louis as anyone. Not all high school coaches hold a lot of sway, but I'd say Lee was one of the few. But yes, you're absolutely right about the AAU coaches as well.

John Calipari has just entered the building.
That would be for the Tatum v. Tatum game otherwise known as Chaminade v. CBC. Jayson playing his dad's team.
ETA and Tatum had 24 pts through 3 quarters

Antonio Blakeney 4* (98 rating) SG from Florida will visit Mizzou next month. 2015 class

It would be nice to get a guard who cared about assists. Nationally, Mizzou is ranked 322 in assists, which is pretty much dead last.
