This is so true. Living in KC area is a a wild blend of kU and MU even within some families. My husband and I are both Mizzou alums, but his younger brother and sister are both kU grads. We dished out or received some raucous ribbing when the two schools played each other, when we were younger.
Now that we all live in distant places, we just don't answer the phone when our team is not winning.**
