Am I becoming a terrible MU fan or just a normal SEC fan?

It is Dec 06 and I can only name 3 starters on the Basketball team off the top of my head. When I was a younger I lived and died with MU basketball. As I got older I have really taken to following the football team way more than basketball. It is not that I don't want them to win and have a great team. I just don't care near as much as being successful in football. With the move to the SEC it has only made that more true.
Anyone else the same way or am all wet on this one?

It's been football for me for a while, but I remember the days when football was just the stopgap between nothing and basketball.

I was thinking this same thing the other day.

25 years ago it was the complete opposite. I can recall actually choosing NOT to go to games when I was a kid.

We'd have tkt's, free from someone, and just not bother going.
