Oh, you peon, (sniffs his 1978 vintage white before taking a sip) you must not understand anything about college football or coaching. Gary Pinkel is unquestionable and infallible. He makes decisions and based on those decisions fact is set. If a firing needed to be done Gary would have already done it.

Such is law!

OR he's just a complete idiot who has lucked his way into any success he's ever had. If we could only shake this clown we'd probably reel off 5 titles in a row.

See, I can use dumbfrick hyperbole that was never said as well. It's a great way to further a conversation.

Wine sucks btw. Be a man and grab yourself a beer.

Ricker is a student of the Zone Blocking approach. Zone blocking differs from power blocking as it requires OL to think about the blocking scheme and then react, in power blocking, you basically see it and block it.

Not quite right, Zone blocking blocks an area not a predetermined technique, example way less combo blocks, gee blocks etc.. basically in a Zone scheme you step to the hole and pick up the man head up on you, if non then the first inside shoulder still if none then to the 2nd level. In power blocking you have to see the defense first to know your assignment and then adjust to stunts and stems on the fly.

Mizzou OL's are power blocking OL's trying to learn a zone scheme. They are trying to think and react and you see how slow they are. they reach at blocks because they can't physically get in position to block.

Mizzou has thrived with flat belly OL aka Britt, Morse and McGovern.
