Which is fine for him, and I think he's athletic enough to be a good player there and help us win.
My point was just it leaves us a bit thin at DT.

If you want to call it Koolaid for thinking defense is going to be good, give me another glass.
They are taking away run read responsibilities from the CBs. We are going to see a lot of cover 2 robber, cover blue, and cover 5. Newsom's athleticism allows them to do this w/o changing personnel. All of the calls are made on the field regardless of the offense being faced. You combine that with what the front 4 bring to the table, and I'm not worried about the defense.

I didn't mean it in a negative sense. I hope y'all are right! I think the defense is going to be OK, just worried about the loss of Brady and whether the young guys will step up. Y'all are making me drink the Koolaid, and I want to!
