2014 New (Possible) Uniforms

I got on Instagram today, and saw something crazy. @mizzoufootball posted a few pictures of their last practice in Columbia nicknamed "NFL Day". One of the pictures was of Ladamian Washington in a BEAST MODE jersey. I scrolled down and they have 4 new helmets that they have made and players are wearing:
- beast mode helmet (block M)
- all black, with yellow numbers on it.
- Shiny grey helmet, gloss striping and logo like on the SECCG helmet, with a chrome cage.
- carbon-fiber pattern shell, black face mask with logo.
Not sure if they'll be used, but it is interesting. No link because you have to sign up to see everything.

Remember when you jumped the gun on the Cotton Bowl T shirts?
Division I football programs have access to stockpiles of uniforms--actual uniforms, prototype uniforms, designs that never got off the ground, etc. It's quite possible that one or more of the helmets in the pictures will be a part of Mizzou's uniforms next year. It's just as likely (probably more likely) that those helmets were potential mockups that got voted down. All a player has to do is head by the equipment room and ask the equipment manager for a special helmet or for a unique combination for the "NFL Day" festivities. The equipment manager can even give the player and never before seen combination just be peeling decals off and slapping new decals on. Guaranteed the equipment room has a stockpile of unused as well as never-been-used decals to throw on a helmet.

See, youre just smarter than me about that stuff so I dont know. But, if they look good while they are messing around at practice, you would think that they might actually put some of them into use.

Would like to see that helmet in the rotation...and less of the huge yellow tiger.
I like having a few good looking combos, but don't want us going the way of Oregon with a different gaudy look every week.

That's not bad. Reminds me of another helmet, but I can't put my finger on it.
