Jackson Morrison is going to attend a Mizzou and Iowa camp this summer among others. He is a 3* center even though his ONLY current offer is Missouri State. If he picks up more offers could end up being a 4*. Hes from Marryville MO.
I read an interview with his some time back. He was really wanting an offer from Mizzou. I can't believe Mizzou hasn't offered him yet. But I guess the staff has a direction they want to go in and maybe there is more to it than on the surface. He seems like a good kid.

This Article gives good insight on this years recruiting compared to the last few years. Mentions we are still recruiting Bauer pretty hard and Monte Harrison is now a 4* by rivals and wants to play Football and Baseball in college which could benefit Mizzou. Good read

Glad to hear they haven't given up on Bauer. I don't know what the chances are, but would really love to get him back in the fold, along with Markel. We have got to get off to a fast start to the season. Not just win, but win impressively. Keeping my fingers crossed that Franklin is good enough to do that.

The article also mentions the Foreman brothers. One notes they want to play together in college and that was the reasoning Mizzou offered the lesser touted brother as well. Of the 4* players I feel the most confident about Monte Harrison. Hes a Lee Summit WR and Mizzou has a good standing there.

Lees Summit LB Jimmie Swain has been boosted from 3* to a 4*. Rivals has him listed low interest towards Mizzou.

Adams and Richard might be two of my favorite commits in awhile. I've never seen guys recruit other recruits like this.

So, how are we doing? Can't wait to get all caught up after my 2 month detention!! I saw the commits ... Anyone want to do some cliff notes for me and update me on the hot prospects?

There's a few in-state kids we're still hot after. Broderick Johnson is a 4* OL from St. Louis but we're probably a bit behind on him. Montae Harrison a 4* WR from the KC side that we should be in good shape. Beyond that, they're coming out of the blue to me. Never heard of or saw offers to half of the commits. Excited to get the WR and OL from Tennessee.

It's a bit concerning to see 4 guys on the espn 250 from Missouri, and none of them committed to Mizzou. Yet, anyway.

Yep, a bit frustrating to look at the top players in Missouri and see so many icons for other schools. On the good side, it's good to hear the staff hasn't given up on Bauer. Good kid and good family and I hope the staff can find a way to get him back in the fold. Would love to get Markel back on board too.

Booth delayed his decision. Can't do anything but help Mizzou's chances.

Since he cut us out of his list the only hope we have is if we get him on campus. I like Monte more than Booth though. Hopefully we can at least land him.

I'm hoping that by delaying, maybe that happens. Plenty of time for visits over summer break or maybe he delays long enough that we win a few games and he decides to visit.
I like Monte as well, but call me greedy, would love to get them both.
Having said that, is there any concern at the lack of offers out there for defensive linemen? I know we signed a couple last year, might move some from end to the line, but it seems DE/DL is one of our most glaring needs and those spots have relatively fewer offers out there.

Jackson Morrison is a 3* center from Missouri. Currently his only offer is from Missouri State as he has yet to attend camps. He will attend a Missouri, Iowa, and Iowa State camp this summer among others. Could potentially be a 4* with more offers.
Jamal Mayo is a JUCO CB currently unranked by rivals. This past year was his first year at corner and he recorded 5 INT's. Great ball skills. Wants to play in the SEC.
Isiah Wynn is a 4* Guard from Florida, currently in good standing with Mizzou and they are looking to getting him on Campus before he makes a decision. Mizzou has a shot with him.
Armanti Foreman is a 4* WR and his brother D'Onta Foreman is a 2* athlete. They are from Texas. D'Onta would mentions they would like to play together which is why Mizzou offered both and the idea of playing in the SEC is appealing to them.
There are others but those are the names I see mentioned the most.Paul Adams is a 3* OT commit and THomas RIchard is a 2* WR commit both from Tennessee. THey have been recruiting for Mizzou pretty hard on twitter.
SEMO hope that helps!

Yep, thanks! I hope we can make some progress his summer, then win the first few games and get our mojo back!

Greg Taylor is ranked as the number 38 safety as a 3*. Hes a borderline 4* right now. Hes a 5.7 rating now and it takes a 5.8 to be a 4*. He had a very strong showing at the rivals camp.
