I'm pretty sure that number is inflated BTW. I read he had benched 405 as a sophomore.
Well kinda. He benched over 200 when he was in jr. high. He's benching around 450 right now. I can't remember the exact numbers but it's still impressive. He's got some growing left to do. One thing is for sure, both Hosick and Ramirez are solid.

Hosick struggled today. Staley lost a lot from last year and they werent helping him out today. They got down early and he started pressing.
That plus LSW has Ramirez and Boyd among others.

Is Hosick dead set on playing QB? It's cool if he is, but I was wondering if he may be another TJ Moe, while maybe not identical roles.

It would have been great to get Connor Harris last year. Alot like Hosick but more versitile. He was Blue Springs Souths QB last year. About the only thing Trent has on Connor was throwing ability. Don't know why he did'nt go to Mizzou, kid was a killer safety in HS. As well as thier punter and QB. Would have made a good safety for Mizzou. He basicaly was thier whole offense and defense last year on thier way to thier 2011 6A state title.
Oh well, Hosick is a good athlete also. Really thinking about it, Mizzou should be loaded at QB next year.
But this kid you linked to. He's only a 165 lb. reciever. Thats kinda small for SEC play isn't it?

Hosick struggled today.
I don't know if he struggled or the rest of the team struggled. He still racked up some good rushing numbers. Did'nt look half bad passing at times, when he had time to pass.
Titans just got a killer defense.
There may be another kid to start watching. He's playing at my alma mater Fort Osage. He's thier safety and he's looking like the next E.J. Gaines. Joseph Tuimaseve. He's being projected as thier leading tackler and is being spoken highly of by the local paper. Fort is playing Blue Springs South this Friday. I may have to go check that game out in person.

Nice stats.
Chase is a beast man. I'd love to see Mizzou try him out at running back. I think he'd supprise a few people.
Antar! I think he's gonna wind up with 4 stars by the end of the year. Thats a nice game there. I don't even think Boyd had a sack yesterday.
They all had good games really. You would have liked Hosick to have a few more completions, but kinda like you said, he just doesn't have the surrounding cast this year.

@DaveTelep: Source told me Top 100 guard Wesley Clark is committed to Missouri. That's strong. One of summer's biggest risers.
