Corbin will only be charged with a misdemeanor so he will be returning to the team.. As unrealistic as this is, we just went from Maty Mauk potentially starting against SE LA to pretty much completely out of the woods.

I've heard the coaches may like him more than Beisel and even Ramirez

I agree. I just found it funny how much QB depth we regained just today.

Dilfer is scouting him for the Elite 11 competition this summer. Dilfer has said that Jennings is the best Quarterback in Georgia. Over Printz and Ramsey. There is a strong chance he will end up making the cut.

Gotcha. Easily at the top of the wishlist for the other qb spot

Mauk, Jennings, and Hosick dueling it out for Franklin's successor. That would be amazing. I dont know where we rate but I hope we hear where we stand soon.

In his top 10 (9 with arky likely done at qb) before his visit and without an offer.

Top quality running back should be priority #1. Mizzou has shown it can run the ball effectively. They will be that much better once all the key lineman are in place. The one true position left that they need to fill or could improve in quality is running back. I hope Elliot reconsiders his commitment. He could really gash defenses with this up and comming line at Mizzou.
Be nice to land a QB like Jennings, but realisticaly, he is not goin to MU. Though, it would be his best fit to his talents. I am a Mauk guy. He's got it all really. Still haven't figured out how we got him from the Big10 country besides the DGB factor.
Priority #2 is D-lineman. We need more. They are going to need depth there because of the SEC conference being so run game oriented. The linemen we got now are going to face the top O-lineman in college football as well as some of the top running backs. They will be pounded, and we will need a top quality rotation. Were solid at linebacker. D-backs were good. SEC is not a pass oriented league. Thats just my opinion.
Priority #3? We need a solid tight end. More athletic than one dementional block or recieving. This position is the security blanket of this offensive scheme. Without it, this scheme won't be as effective as it could be.

This would be priority #1.

I think Morgan Steward will be a star. He's a former TE and FB. He catches the ball well and runs a 10.4 100m at 205-210 lbs.

DGB will fill this role. He'll be playing the "X" reciever that has produced 4 All-Americans in the last 5 years.

Pretty good reasoning in your post. I think the D-Line is the most important position based on our lack of depth and the potential of Sheldon not staying another year.
I think Morgan Steward will be great. He is why I was not that mad at all about losing J-Will. But landing Zeke would be great towards building depth on the team. That being said I think he will end up coming to Mizzou and will be a star after Steward is done.
Yes I know getting Jennings is a challenge, but with him most likely being at the top of our board for QBs, you know the staff is about to go all out. Usually when we push for a guy that hard, we have good success making it at least to the later cuts. I will be interested in seeing how we recruit him and how much progress we make.

As UR was saying I think DGB could probably step into this role somewhat, but I don't think we should count Sean Culkin out yet. I saw a video the other day of some of his high school highlights and have to say he reminded me a lot of Coffman's style of playing that position

We still have Eric Waters too

Roderick Johnson came to the StL Camp. I think this is great news, as I thought we was almost definately leaving. Seems like Iowa and the other area schools always get into North County. Its nice to see that he came out so the coaches can recruit him even more.

Sounds like he will likely be a top 250 kind of guy with potential to blow up a little on the recruiting trail. It really would be nice to start getting the North county guys to come to Mizzou, keep the B1G out of STL!!
