Shawn Smith ended up in the SEC after all, verbal to A&M today. Good luck to him. (would like to trade him for Ed Ray though, still pissed about that deal)

Why do you think it's an alt?

Don't know, just the pattern of the first few posts. I was just curious. Hopefully it is no big deal, but alts are the biggest problem on the SECr that I see.

RE: Joe Mathis relatives

Nothing on Robert Mathis, but I heard today Joe Mathis is related to Su'a Cravens. Supposedly cousins or something like that and Joe wants to play where ever Cravens signs. I didn't look anything up to see if true and maybe old news. Anyway they would be a helluva package deal to some school.

Usually people create alts to frick with people. His (or her) posts seem pretty harmless.

I'd say they're a lock for a Pac 12 school.

Yeah, supposedly USCw and surprisingly Wazzu are at the top. Outside the PAC, Nebraska actually is high on their lists also.

Welcome. I apologize if my question came across as rude. Looking forward to hopefully you getting some inside sources from the radio station. Have fun with those season tixs!

Do not be shocked if Missouri is among the leaders for Oriakhi. I know how much he loved playing with Phil Pressey back in the day.

Doesn't have to sit out a year.

Oriakhi

By the way I just saw today as well that he was the number 3 player in his class coming out of high school. Would be real nice to get a true 5 man on the team next year...he would've come in handy when we got O'Quinnd

It will be nice to actually have a bench this year.

Have been told that Missouri and Florida, SEC schools likely cant take Alex Oriakhi due to league rule that prohibits one-year transfers.

Tweet from Jeff Goodman. Would probly have been too many transfers anyway.

I've heard there is some potential loopholes in this scenario though since Oriakhi has not taken a RS year. So technically he would still have "2 years" of eligibility one of them being a redshirt year he certainly wouldn't take. This is just an odd situation with Oriakhi and the fact that he can transfer from UConn with no repercussions. Either way I trust our coaching staff to figure it out

There are no loopholes with this rule. Houston Nutt found one and they abruptly closed it.

Yep. That pissed a lot of people off and that rule was promptly passed.
