Wish List:
1. Good bagman
2. Alums with businesses to offer jobs to recruits and their parents
3. Booster with real estate development that can come up with houses for mamas
4. Tattoo parlor sponsor to give free Tiger tattoos
ETA - I'm joking - just feeling frustrated this afternoon.

Honestly, he was probably our lowest rated recruit.

They don't mean everything but when every single one of your players is a 3*, what are the odds of competing in the SEC? So one or two of those 3* turns into a player but the rest play like 3*'s. I don't think that's a good mix. We don't have to be loaded with 5*'s like Bama, but we have to sprinkle in some 4* and an occasional 5* to be competitive as a team in my opinion. Otherwise, we'll continue to turn out good players, like Chase, but we won't win anything because there's not enough supporting cast.

ESPN and Scout have us with 4 4 stars. 247 has us with 2 4stars

3* recruits are enough to compete but we'd have to start stooping to bush league tactics like Bama and UGA where we push kids out every year who aren't contributing. That would allow taking 25 kids every year + whatever early enrolling jucos we could find that might be good enough. That would allow Mizzou 30+ fresh bodies every year.
From that, there would be enough 3* kids work out to be a very good program.

I hope you're right. My mindset today is more thinking he's doing the whole signing day thing so his son has that wonderful experience, and get his name out there with the media before he heads off to tosu stable. I SO hope you're right.
I hear what you're saying semo, but if I think if they wanted to make a circus of it and jerk a school around, it would have been someone other than their alma mater. If he's not serious about Mizzou and only doing it to get his name I would like to think he'd just use some other school he's not serious about other than his alma mater. Heck, jerk Michigan around. That would have created the biggest stir.

Rumor is Duron Singleton may be a silent commit to Mizzou

I'm seeing 3 on 247. Augusta, Abbington and Moore. If you cherry pick them from each, I bet we have 10.
As for Jones, him and Rupert are a wash in my eyes. They probably heard grumblings on Jones and then went after Rupert.

The first three were good suggestions until you said "Just joking"

I hope so. Would like to see him in black and gold.

This was my opinion, until they decided to put it on TV. The family has been trying to hype up the suspense for a couple of weeks now. I think that means he is about to flip.

Well, I suppose we could get a car dealership in there too, with a good enough bagman and a car dealer they should all be in some nice rides....

I just don't think they'd "use" their alma mater to hype it up. I think if that's all it was, it would be at the expense of another school that they have no connection to.

I hope we do get Duron Singleton. Hes another guy who could be a day one contributor.

At least we don't have a racist on the team running off recruits. I guess it could be worse.

Forgot about Moore. Singleton is a 4* on 247 too.

One of Auburn's linemen, Reece Dismukes, apparently used a racial pejorative in reference to one of their recruits this weekend. That recruit left Auburn and drove to Tuscaloosa. Now says he's a Bama commit. This same lineman has been in trouble before. Not a bright guy. Multiple sources confirming the story. This recruit, Reuben Foster, is a troublemaker though, and one version of the story has him trying to sway another Auburn recruit to Alabama - sparking the incident.

MS2 is on Tigerboard, and passes along from PM that they estimate we have a better than 50% chance of getting Outlaw, Singleton is basically a lock, and the staff feels confident on EZE. They think Johnson is likely to USF.
